With Kutbil-ik, the `Tamulado` chili is identified with the Maya. Stateside, this is already a distinguished sauce.
Don`t be deceived by this innocent, marble-tinged brown colour. This vinegar-based sauce is several times stronger than tabasco and the light, fruity flavour remains in the aroma of the food. Real salsa fans - watch out - this sauce is the one. Apparently, the recipe is taken from an old Maya tradition.
Ingredients: Habanero Chili, water, onion, tomato, salt, acidulant vinegar and citric acid, oil pflanzl., spices, preservative sodium benzoate, thickener xanthan gum
