2009 GOLDEN CHILE WINNER. Captain Thom and the crew, after fishing along the Great Barrier Reef, made a stop in Thailand to sample some of the hot and spicy Thai food book.
... Over hearing a story from one of the local street vendors about a mystic Book of recipes. We made an excursion into the interior jungle, where we found the legendary Monkey King and the rare The Monkey King was so impressed by our love of spicy foods that he presented us with this mysitcal book. This hot sauce is a product of that book.
"(...) To my surprise it was not sweet as most Teriyaki Sauces are, and actually supplied a small punch of heat. The soy and onion came through first, followed by the flavor of peanuts, garlic, and a hint of sweetness from the pineapple. The heat was slow and very pleasing."

Geschmack sehr gut, aber nicht scharf!
Ich hatte mir von einer Thai Hot Sauce schon Schärfe erwartet, vor allem wenn der Händler ACHTUNG: SEHR SCHARF! (4) aufs deutsche Importeur-Etikett schreibt, abenso hier in der Beschreibung. Leider ist sie das nicht. Ich würde sie auf der Scovlla-Scale als 2 von 6 einstufen. Aber: top Geschmack! Starke, aber unaufdringliche Teriyaki-Note, nicht zu süss, echt gut. Insgesamt also wie eine leicht geschärfte Teriyaki-Sauce.
