Pepper is an incomparably deployable seasoning. In former times, pepper was a luxury item which was laboriously imported from India, but is today, a much-loved, accessible seasoning which fits to any dish, hot or cold. Handpicked, aroma-sealed, whole white peppercorns (piper nigrum). White pepper is a fully ripe pepper when freed of its shelling. The ripe, red pepper berries are softened for a few days under running water. The shelling is loosened through decomposition. The corns are then shelled and dried. Taste: Pure spice, aromatic 250g. |
